Dominican Day Parade!






26 Years and Counting…

The first Dominican Parade in Manhattan took off in 1982. Since then it has become one of the most popular Latino events/parades in New York City. Waving the pride colors of Red, White, Blue, and the tune of Merengue was heard throughout the city from the beginning of the parade at 36 street and Six avenue to 60 street and Six avenue. Smiling faces everywhere, crowds cheering, and celebrities seemed happier than the crowd itself. Beautiful people everywhere! Lovely sight! Pictures:

Dance groups were everywhere in the parade here was one who were close by. From the Kips Bay Boys and Girls Club in the Bronx the Dance group “K and JR Company.”
Cannot forget the Queens/Princess one the main highlights of every Latino American parades here in the city. The queens of the parade Left to Right: Glenny Vargas, Berenica Anderson, Lauri Amparo, Eunice Quinones, Massiel Echavarria.
